Season Greetings: Moving forward Through Forgiveness.
How to move forward through Forgiveness?
My last post, I slightly touched the tip of the iceberg of anger. Death and Police brutality was not my only anger issues; there is racism throughout all forms of life, may it be through immigration laws, economy, low income, housing, homeliness, abuse, trafficking and war. We all witness the bad that affect us all in relationship with the human condition, through social media, news and living in the heart of chaos. When does the madness stop and when is enough is enough?
Southern Californians recently witness as some called, a missile, aliens or an explosion, that streak across the sky one evening. A simple act from an industry can cause a panic or havoc, that sets off a chain reaction from the vulnerable to the strongest of humanity. Only a small group of people actually knows what is going on and maybe, it's an inside joke or not enough communication transmitting through the proper channels, to forewarn us of these testings. But this is an common error that our society has lived on for centuries. We do not communicate with our human form, we divide and conquer, while at the same time losing communication with the radar of life. Although, this was a beautiful display of how far our technology can go, the timing was very bad. Some viewed this as a missile and North Korea was the victim. Matter of fact I saw a quote from a young CEO jokingly calling it an "Alien from North Korea". Personally, not funny because our situation with North Korea and their supporters is not a laughing matter. But I truly do believe it was done in all innocence, at least I hope so.
The human form experience many complex scenarios that minimize our strength to hold on. Therefore, we need a "word" that fits the equation and will resolve the problems that we are facing. Forgiveness is the tool that will help us to let go. It illuminate our understanding of the bad and bring that mystery light of goodness. For example, instead of all our worlds military's testing missiles to wipe out a nation or the world, those launching pads can be options to see how we can extend life for the better good. We do want to extend life right?
If man can put such display into the sky, imagine what we can do here on the ground with the tools that God has planted within. Sometimes, we reach for boundaries without securing a solid foundation. Did God not make a solid foundation for us to become habitats here on Earth? It's obvious that when man is in outer space, there is no foundation as he explore the universe, but he continues his journey in space searching for a answer to the unending question, where did we come from? Even in the latest movie, "The Last Jedi" even Rian Johnson has to find a sound foundation to delivery a great composition of this movie. Although, this is a great movie, the sets within fits perfect for filming these interrelationships of aliens in space. However, we as humans need a foundation within our own humanity, that allows us to build relationships through trust and forgiveness.
Forgiveness is the most difficult word to relate to, because the pain is too much to bear and forgiveness is to far to travel, to begin the process. However, it is possible and the rewards are great, even at the beginning of the forgiving journey. The movie "The Last Jedi" was a good movie and worth going to see it at the theaters. Of course, we don't want to leave our cool sabers at home, but the movie did a great job giving us a peak at anger and the rewards of forgiving, which is hope.
I am going to stop here and give you time to process and reflect.
Forgiveness is a beautiful process, because you get to be angry and you get to forgive yourself first for being angry. Then you begin to feel the effects of healing, the love pouring in from God and most important, you get to see you are not alone.
Season Greetings from:#Forgiveness.
